I made this in me days before i really was into phothoshop(2007), and stubbornly stuck to my (acrylic) guns. It was an attempt at an ccg illo, as practice. Recently though i have been experimenting in blending the digital and the traditional, and when I heard Ralph Horsely (of Ninja Mountain fame) say he first finishes a painting in paint before going digital I decided to try it out. This is the result.
It's a good work on my own. Take care to your colors and especialy your green, it's a little bit sad. And you, could you tell me what you think of my own paintings, please? Thanks!
I agree with you on the green, and my colours in general. I usually/naturally lean towards desaturated and often moody colours. I dont know if thats a handicap or not, scince i dont usually paint happy pictures... food for thought
thanks for the comment,
nick
